Our Mission
We strive to create a haven of non-judgmental understanding, offering a safe and nurturing therapy space where every client is not just a participant but a valued individual. Our dedicated commitment is to extend a warm welcome, unwavering support, and the tools for empowerment to each person who walks through our doors. We believe that healing and growth flourish in an environment where acceptance and empathy prevail, and it is our heartfelt mission to cultivate this atmosphere for everyone who seeks our guidance.

OUR STORY
For the Love of You was founded by Marissa Witter Santamouris in early 2022. The inspiration for For the Love of You came when Marissa encountered several clients whom had negative experiences with therapy in the past or had negative stigmas regarding mental health services.
Marissa wanted to tackle this issue by creating a therapy space where every client would feel warm, welcomed, and empowered. For the Love of You focuses on a client-centered approach, making the goal more than just talking through through life stressors, but to also assist clients with finding their inner strength and implementing healthy coping mechanisms.

ABOUT MARISSA
"Hello! My name is Marissa Witter Santamouris and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I attended the University of South Florida where I received a master’s in Social Work along with a bachelor’s in psychology. My diverse experiences in the mental health field range from facilitating grief support groups, case management, outpatient counseling/therapy, and working as a school social worker in a primary and secondary setting. I have over 8 years of experience working with children and their families where I have gained the necessary skills to help address concerns with anger, anxiety, challenging child behaviors, depression, interpersonal challenges, and grief.
I enjoy working with clients to find their passion in life, removing barriers that are keeping them from being the best version of themselves and learning to thrive while living the life they’ve always dreamed. I am eager to use For the Love of You to foster self-love and empowerment in adolescents and young adults in the community I have always called home."

College life, new jobs, adult responsibilities, it’s a lot. If you’re in your late teens or twenties and feeling anxious, burned out, lost, or stuck, I get it.
